Description
VLF is a radio spectrum ranging from 3kHz to 30kHz. This is mostly below the range of man-made radio broadcasts. The signals in this band are produced naturally by the earth's ionosphere and include lightning strikes and northern lights.
However, technology also emits signals that fall into the VLF range. One can thus explore magnetic fluctuations and e.g. listen to the power grid, lights, servers, phone signals or printers.
